"Getting the Love You Want" Imago Couples Education

For over 13 years I presented Imago Weekend Workshops for Couples, which are called "Getting the Love You Want". They are being done all over the world.
​​These Workshops are extremely illuminating and transformative.
​The Practices will help you to create more intimacy and freedom with your partner. Imago Ideas are based on the book, “Getting the Love You Want” by Harville Hendrix. 
Currently Dr. Hunt Monan is not giving Group Workshops. Rather, the Workshop is being taught to Couples Individually during the course of Ongoing Couples Therapy, or in a Private Weekend Format.
The Workshop Ideas and Practices are for you if:
  • You want to enrich or improve communication in an already good relationship
  • You are beginning a relationship you want to keep
  • You are struggling and want to resolve painful conflict
  • You desire more passion and aliveness in your relationship
  • You are close to breaking up and trying to decide

Together, we will explore old patterns and facilitate new, effective ways to be in a relationship. You and your partner will learn about research-based communication skills and will practice the skills to discover a new sense of intimacy.  This is for all married/unmarried couples hoping to learn new tools for turning conflict into healing opportunities and to expand their capacity to live in joy and connection.

The workshop  includes lectures, guided imagery, and written exercises, along with the latest research on how to expand couples’ capacity to love. Couples will practice the skills known to increase safety, freedom and passion.  Instructional manuals will be provided to use during, and after, the workshop.

I have Presented these Workshops for over 13 years and have consistently received the highest satisfaction ratings from my participants. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and being a facilitator for these practices. ​Currently I am only teaching the Workshop in Private Couples Therapy, or in a Private Weekend Format.
Getting the Love You Want
